The ability of antibodies to bind to specific molecules makes them ideal probes in cell research. Antibodies have become one of the most important tools for studying protein function in cells. At APS we can assist in the development of both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies for research and diagnostic purposes and also drug discovery/drug delivery.
All our production facilities are based in the UK and are compliant with UK animal husbandry regulations under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act.
Our facilities are regulated and controlled under strict UK Home Office guidelines ensuring a high standard of animal care by experienced and dedicated staff.
APS has a long history of involvement with antibodies. Jenny Murray, the owner of APS, was also closely involved in the first commercialisation of monoclonal antibodies in 1982 with hybridomas provided by César Millstein.
